I saw this product recently, and it looks to be a step up from the current PDA style device that is currently the industry standard.  I talked to a sales rep from Juniper and he noted that though it isn't currently intrinsically safe but that they are working towards that and that it ultimately will be.

 I thought I would share it with community and also ask if other folks find the PDA somewhat limiting.  As a consumer in my non LDAR life I really like tablet technology and think that our industry could greatly benefit from some of the tablet technology's resources.
